The scenic centerpiece of Teravista, the 18-hole Teravista Golf Club features a 7,200-yard course designed by Floridian, George Clifton, whose firm of Clifton, Ezell & Clifton Golf Design has created more than 40 championship courses throughout the United States.

Laid out on gently rolling terrain, the Teravista Golf Club has views extending more than 30 miles to the west, treating golfers to vistas of hills, trees, wildflowers and native grasses. With five different tee settings, this daily fee course is inviting to golfers of every skill level, and the constant, gentle breeze adds a unique element to a round of golf at Teravista.

Club facilities include short game and full swing practice facilities, a 22,000-square-foot putting green, and a double-ended range with tee boxes extending over 80 yards. The 5,000-square-foot clubhouse offers a golf shop and the Caldwell Café, serving breakfast and lunch seven days a week. The Caldwell Café is open to Teravista residents and the general public, whether they play golf or not.

The Teravista Golf Club has garnered numerous awards, most recently named winning seven first-place “Best of Public Golf Course Awards” from Avid Golfer. These include Best Golf Course Practice Facility, Best Course Conditions, Best Service, Most Environmentally Friendly Golf Course, and Best Place to Take a Client. It has also been named a top “Beginner Friendly Course” by the National Golf Course Owners Association.

The Teravista Residents’ Club is “fun central” for residents of all ages. Throughout the year, this popular amenity hosts festive events celebrating holidays and special occasions. Residents also create their own impromptu fun at all times, whether it’s a play date for a group of neighbors, a friendly game of basketball, or just catching some rays by the pool.

Facilities include an impressive clubhouse with a two-story great room and a cozy fireside gathering room, available for residents to reserve for their own personal events. An indoor fitness center offers state-of-the-art cardio and weight training equipment.

Outdoors, The Residents’ Club offers a Junior Olympic swimming pool, a children’s splash pool, a playground, a multi-purpose sport court, a sand volleyball court and a lighted tennis court.

There’s also a thriving Marketplace where you can post a classified ad and see special offers from local companies.

The Teravista master plan also includes miles of greenbelt trails, running between neighborhoods and along major thoroughfares such as Teravista Parkway and Teravista Club Dr. These landscaped greenbelts make it possible to walk, bike or jog virtually anywhere in the community, whether to a friend’s house or The Residents’ Club.
