Teravista says bye to summer with Back To School Splash Bash
Friday, August 22, 2014
On Sat., Aug. 23, Teravista residents are invited to the community’s annual Back To School Splash Bash – but at a new place this year.
This time last year, Teravista was still putting the finishing touches on The Club at Wildflower Park. Fast-forward to now, and we’re ready to celebrate in Hawaiian style at this still-sparkling amenity. Hours are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Come hungry, because there’ll be pizza, Kona Ice, punch boxes and other refreshments. Activities will include picture-frame making with a Hawaiian twist, a duck swim contest, a bean bag toss and much more.
The first 100 residents will each receive a free Teravista backpack filled with fun-in-the-sun essentials including a beach ball, sunglasses and bubbles. Provided by the Teravista HOA, each backpack will also have an activity book plus pencils and crayons. And because this is a Hawaiian-themed event, there’ll also be a lei in every backpack.
To add to the festive Hawaiian fun, residents are encouraged to wear their favorite island attire.
All of this fun will take place within sight of the new Georgetown ISD elementary school now under construction near Wildflower Park. It’s the perfect way to say goodbye to summer and hello to the new academic year at Teravista’s highly regarded Round Rock ISD and Georgetown ISD schools.
