From blood pressure to stress management, the Teravista Health Expo is a great way to get free advice and screening from local experts in a wide variety of health related fields. The Expo takes place this Saturday, Jan. 18, from 10 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at The Club at Wildflower Park. *If bad weather, the Health Expo will move the Residents' Club.
Health professionals from Seton will offer blood pressure, body mass index and blood sugar screening, along with “Ask the Dietician, “Ask the Pharmacist” and “Ask the Physical Therapist” forums.
A psychotherapist from Scott & White will be on hand, and experts from the hospital will also offer vision and eye health screening.
There will also be screenings for stress management, chiropractic, dentistry and spinal health. For those wanting advice on how to keep their New Year’s fitness resolutions, there’ll be experts and trainers on hand from several area gyms.
