Visit Georgetown Farmers Market to enjoy summer’s delicious bounty
Wednesday, July 23, 2014
With everything from peaches and peppers in season right now, there’s never been a better time to discover (or rediscover) the Georgetown Farmers Market.
For 30 years, the Market has brought more than 50 farmers together with food-loving residents in Williamson and surrounding counties.
Along with delicious seasonal fruits and vegetables, the Market offers year-round supplies of the freshest eggs, honey, olive oil, cheeses, pasture-raised beef and much more. Other goodies include Texas wines, jams and jellies, artisan breads, tamales and even dog treats.
The Market has three locations open year-round, so you can choose the day and place that’s best for you.
Closest to Teravista, the Round Rock Market takes place Saturday mornings in the Scott & White Hospital parking lot at 300 W. University Blvd. For other locations and the latest seasonal offerings, visit the Farmers Market website.
