Meet Teravista’s smart & healthy neighbors

Teravista has a growing number of smart and healthy neighbors located right across University Boulevard from our community.
Here are brief profiles of each of these great institutions, and you can find a lot more information at their websites.
Austin Community College. More than 5,000 students pursue careers in everything from nursing to biotechnology at ACC’s eighth full-service location, situated in a state-of-the-art campus that incorporates green building and sustainable design. Other programs include automotive technology, building construction technology, electronics, medical laboratory technology, surgical technology and welding technology.
Texas State University. Upper-level and grad students can pursue 10 bachelor’s degrees and 11 master’s degrees in a wide range of majors at this modern campus. St. David’s School of Nursing offers innovative curriculum in a variety of labs providing clinical practice and simulation. The campus also includes the Avery Building, with 40 classrooms, eight computer labs, a library, learning and testing center, and student lounge.
Texas A&M Health Science Center. This state-of-the-art campus includes the College of Medicine and College of Nursing. The College of Medicine is a community-based medical school providing third- and fourth-year clinical training through affiliations with local physicians, clinics and hospitals. The College of Nursing offers four tracks to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, and an online Master of Science in Nursing degree.
Scott & White Healthcare – Round Rock Hospital. This healthcare campus includes a primary care clinic, multispecialty clinics and a full-service 101-bed hospital. This campus offers heart and vascular services, diagnostic imaging and testing, diabetes management, and women’s and children’s services. It was the first hospital in the nation to be recognized as an AHA Mission: Lifeline – Heart Attack Receiving Center.
Seton Medical Center Williamson. In the prestigious U.S. New & World Report Best Regional Hospitals ranking for 2013-14, Seton Medical Center Williamson ranked No. 3 among 33 acute care hospitals for adults in the Austin area, recognized for high performance in nephrology and pulmonology. Opened in 2008, it is the largest and only faith-based hospital in Williamson County, with capacity for 181 beds and plans to expand to more than 350 beds in the future. Innovative design elements come together with leading edge technology to create a peaceful and warm environment where patients and families can heal and find comfort.
