Snow Day at Teravista: The Day in Pictures
Friday, January 23, 2015
It doesn’t usually snow when it’s sunny and 70 degrees outside, but that’s what happened last weekend for Teravista’s annual Snow Day event. What a difference it was from December, when the originally planned date had to be changed due to extreme cold and wet weather.
Residents enjoyed thrilling sled rides down the gentle slope at the Arbor Lake Sports Field. There were also friendly snowball fights, along with arts and crafts, and goodies including cookies, hot cocoa and coffee. In all, more than 500 Teravista residents turned out to enjoy the day’s activities.
With such mild sunny weather, the snow was gone by the end of the event, but the memories will surely last ‘til the next Snow Day at Teravista. Meanwhile, residents will enjoy a year filled with events and activities, including Casino Night on Feb. 15 and the Spring Fling on April 12.
