It’s said that “location, location, location” is the most important rule of real estate. In that regard, Teravista is a slam-dunk community.
Teravista is located along I-35 North, with exits at University Boulevard and Westinghouse Road. I-35 provides quick and easy access to Downtown Austin, about 23 miles to the south.
Running north and south, the SH 130 toll road near Teravista offers a convenient alternate route to Downtown and other destinations, including Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, about 38 miles away. The SH 45 toll road offers east-west access to nearby Cedar Park and other points.
Here are five ways that Teravista’s location offers its residents quick and easy access to many of the things that matter most to them.
Work. Teravista is only a few minutes’ drive from the world headquarters of Dell, which is by far the largest employer in Williamson County, with 13,000 employees. Other major employers nearby include Sears, Emerson and Scott & White Healthcare
Schools.Teravista has two elementary schools onsite. Teravista Elementary is in Round Rock ISD, and Carver Elementary is in Georgetown ISD. Most Teravista neighborhoods with active new-home construction are in Georgetown ISD, which offers nearby East View High School, recently ranked as one of Austin’s Top 10 High Schools. GISD is also building a new middle school that will open nearby Teravista in 2017. The Round Rock Higher Education Center and other colleges and universities are located right across the street from Teravista on University.
Shopping. As home to the Round Rock Premium Outlet Malls at I-35 North and University, Teravista put major-league shopping on the map in the area. Other nearby retail centers offer everything from a brand-new H-E-B to all kinds of stores, services and entertainment. IKEA is also nearby.
Fun. Teravista is located roughly equidistant between Round Rock and Georgetown, both with thriving historic downtowns that are filled with restaurants, nightclubs, one-of-a-kind stores, and galleries. Both cities also offer live music events and popular festivals throughout the year. Several movie theaters are also near Teravista.
Healthcare. The stretch of University right across from Teravista has transformed into a major concentration of healthcare and education institutions over the past few years. Seton Medical Center Williamson and Scott & White Hospital are among the healthcare providers, and the Texas A&M Health Science Center offers leading-edge medical education. Teravista also has a skilled nursing center and memory care facility.
